Great stay in Osaka

The location is pretty good! Very close to the metro and JR stations so moving around was pretty easy. It’s also one block from Don Quijote, so if you like shopping.. that’s the place to stay.

The only problem for me was the bed and pillow. The bed was a steel frame that moved around and the pillow was stiff and small, but for the price I paid and the location, it’s worth it.

subway is literally 10 seconds walk! and 1 stop to JR station. lovely staffs! you got what you paid for , the price match the hotel rate :)

maybe in the future can use a nicer bed frame

Great budget-friendly hotel with perfect public transport access

Great location for travelling in and outside Osaka. Lots of small restaurants around too that aren't overrun by tourists.

I really like this place; second time staying here in fact. So this part is just to put it in perspective: There is a train station right next to it (hence the convenient travel) and the rooms are small which is quite typical for Japanese hotels, even more for ones in this price range. Neither are a negative for me (didn't hear the trains even) but if you expect a huge US/European size hotel room and a gorgeous view over the city skyline, this is definitely not it. Do check the pictures of the hotel,they are absolutely true to reality and not trying to make it look like something it isn't.

Pleasant and value for money

The blanket smells nice and kept me warm and fuzzy during the cold weather, bathroom was clean which made me feel comfortable :)

Housekeeping was loud in the morning, good to bring earplugs along.

Pretty decent spot for budget travel

I appreciate the cleanliness. The place was neat, bathroom was spotless. Pretty decent space for a solo user. Staff were all cordial.

- The bed was a bit uncomfortable same with the pillow. - I didn’t realize the location can be sketchy at night as mentioned by locals. I tried going out nothing happened but it does feel less secure compared to streets of Tokyo where I didn’t feel any issue walking alone late at night.

Very good value if you want a budget hotel in a convenient location.

I like the location of this hotel for sure because it’s very close to the Shin-Imamiya station. Coming out and going to the airport is very easy. It is also very close to the Mega Don superstore where you can get a ton o shopping done. It’s about 10-12 mins walk from Abeno Harukas and the Tennoji station area, where you have a ton of food choices and shops again. The hotel itself is adaquate for small parties, the room is small and a little bit spartan but at this price I paid for it was more than enough.

I borrowed an electric kettle from the front desk but it really smelled like someone cooked ramen in it so my water came out tasting disgusting. Other than this small thing there really wasn’t anything else I disliked.

Everything you want in a simple, comfortable hotel.

Room was clean. Had towels, a bath robe, slippers, a small TV, a mini fridge, air conditioner, bidet, hairdryer, toothbrush, shampoo/conditioner & body wash packets (you could grab more from the lobby if you run out). I was on the 9th floor. It was quiet and comfortable. Right next to the subway station. There's no breakfast, but there's coffee and tea in the lobby. I was having trouble trying to figure out how to pour hot water and one of the staff came over and helped me, which I thought was super nice. Check in and out was easy. Oh, and I loved the 'late' check-out at 12PM! Imo more hotels should adopt this check-out time. Plenty of time to wake up, eat, and pack up before checking out makes it sooo much less stressful. There's also an option to check out at 1PM for a small extra charge. Beyond that, you get charged a full day. Didn't use the wifi as I had my own. But everything else was great!

Nothing. My stay was great. Only thing I might have found useful was an iron. But it didn't impact my stay.

Close to the metro station, they don't offer breakfast but you can grab free coffe in the mornings, free products available like shower gels, face creams

Very nice stay, definitely stay again if I go to Osaka

Very good location, surrounded by subway, JR and nankai stations, you can take any lines and the hotel is just a few steps from the exit. Also close to Tsutenkaku with lots of shops and restaurants. The room is very clean and have private shower with very good price. Room is small though, but rooms in Japan overall are always so small. They also provided free skincare! Also what I like best about this hotel is their checkout time is 13:00, latest checkout time I’ve ever seen~

I wish they have bathtub though.

Cleaning only on Mondays and Saturdays. Difficult If you check in at Friday and are planning to stay for a week.

Outstanding budget hotel!

This hotel is an exceptional value. For about $25 a night, you can't go wrong. It's kept in excellent condition. The room was very clean and well maintained. The shower was easy to use even though I'm 6 foot 3. The blackout curtains blocked out almost all light from the outside, making it easier to sleep. The double paned windows helped dampen the sound from the outside as well. The on-site coin operated laundry machines were very convenient, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Free coffee in the morning was also a nice bonus. As for the location, you've got plenty of convenience stores nearby, SpaWorld if you want to relax in a bath, and you're within easy walking distance of Shinsekai and the Tsutenkaku tower. There's also an Osaka Metro and a JR station right on the corner for easy access to the rest of the city (~20 or 30 minutes to most of the big attractions like USJ and Osaka Castle).

My main complaint would be the neighborhood - it's a little run down and filled with people smoking outside the convenience stores. Nothing too bad though. The noise, although dampened, might also be a bit much for sensitive people. While I didn't mind too much, I could hear ambulances and trains going by all the time. The bed and pillow were also rather stiff, but fine for sleeping on. WiFi also wasn't the fastest and didn't get the best signal, but it was adequate for the basics.

They provided plenty of working spaces, a small but comfortable lounge but am most happy with the coin operated laundry.

The room could be bigger but it is enough to accommodate our 2 large baggage.

Nice place on the "southern" side of Osaka!

Overall, very nice, small rooms, with nice bathroom equipment, a reasonable bed, etc. Would stay here again!

When they give out earplugs at the front desk, that is a signal to heed. Ask for a room "away from the tracks." Also, could use a few more hooks or shelves to hang or store clothing, (I stayed two weeks.)
